Regaining Self-Confidence

Trying to come out victorious (and with clear skin) in this acne battle since May 2017

I ~used~ to have a clear skin until the mid-2017. Back then, I would fuss over a single pimple. But when I stopped one of the skin care practices I had been doing from 2013 up to early 2017 after reading an article that it was unhealthy, the consequences piled up and ~sprouted~ all over my face which then become my major skin suffering at present.

Although it was not yet late to withdraw from that habit, as it involved misuse of an antibiotic, particularly clindamycin, the moment I stopped involving it in my regimen was the beginning of my skin quality going downhill and my skin care odyssey set to sail.

My major acne war started in an occasion to be on a make-up galore for a friend’s wedding. The brushes and sponges patted from one face to another, from others to mine, then mine to others, signaled the acne battle that I am still fighting to date.

From mid-2017 up to this writing, I have tried lots of products, tools, and habits hoping that I would solve this on my own. I have been all over internet reading reviews, watching vlogs, curating every comment that I thought might help.

I have tried some products used by many but are ineffective to me, I also have tried some that are uncommon even in the internet but did work for a time to me. So, I am to put in my next blogs all the things I did and I have been trying up to now.

The success of my venture is still unraveling and my wisdom in this experience makes me think that I can help those who are suffering from acne just like me.

With this, I think that I can help another person like me who is battling acne while saving self-confidence and trying to convince one’s self that this skin problem does not equal to one’s self-worth.

So, thank you for reading my first entry and I hope that you will look forward to my next ones.

Have a nice day, dear. 🙂
